RNF XLIII

Random Neuron Firings

This never fails to crack me up:

He’d stay out there all morning. And yet, this is the same dog that commandeers my electric blanket if it happens to slide to the floor, and tries to lie down on people’s feet. Bizarre animule.

The day after Christmas is sometimes a downer, because it signifies the work in front of me for Dinner Theatre. Don’t get me wrong: I love doing it. I just don’t know for how much longer…

===================

The Do Not Go Here site of the day. I mean it. Your wasted morning will not be my fault.

===================

Welp…the Chocodoodle recipe is locked down and locked away. I must say it is mighty tasty. All that remains is the inspection next month, and we’re cookin’ with gas. Then I build the website, Mavis gets started with stocking and prep, and we both start marketing like our lives depended on it. We *should* be ready to take St. Patrick’s Day orders come late January — if we have any customers to place them. Stay tuned.

===================

Today is shop for new music day for my middle school choirs. Much work to be done. But first, I smell Dunkin’ Donuts vanilla coffee — thank you Hannah & Seamus!

    I think that you should happen to bring some Chocodoodles to the band party Tuesday… one more test couldn’t hurt (and a certain B&G member was trying to convince el director to get her one from the staff party). ;) Ha!

      Well…..maybe I could be coerced into making some MiniDoodles (bite size) if my sis and I get the time. I’ll get back to ya!

    I love that pup. He loves the snow, for sure. My Abby is the same way. Every time she comes in from outside, she has a huge snow muzzle on her nose! :-)

    We have a LOT to accomplish while you’re off on break! We need to get that kitchen inspection ready, for starters. I can be working on that while you work on DT music. I’m excited for both! Maybe we can donate some Chocodoodles to the DT menu!

      A lot is right, sister! I’m buried in shopping cart software right now…UGH

      And I’d be open to selling some Doodles at DT! :-)

    When I moved from Florida back to upstate NY, I brought my golden with me. She, of course, had never seen snow, but was fascinated with the chunks of ice she would find when they fell off the roof. She’d bring them inside and play with them, but never quite understood why they disappeared… gawd I miss that dog….

    Too bad the chocodoodles won’t be ready for Valentine’s day. You should talk to my hubby about SEO for your site.

      Cute story about your pup! That’s the only thing I hate about having dogs: losing them. :-(

      And you can count on me contacting Mr. PKP!

    Green Chocodoodles for St. Patty’s day, methinks?? :-)

    …and what is it about dogs that make them do that? Duke, for whatever reason, is terrified of thunder. So what does he do the MINUTE he hears the first thunder clap during a rain storm? Yup…goes outside & sits in the middle of the driveway, or up next to the fence in a pouring rainstorm.

    …now that I think about it, he **does** enjoy getting towel-dried off when he comes back in the house…. I swear that dog is a candidate to ride the short yellow doggie bus…

    Have a great day, m’dear!

      Ding ding ding! You are absolutely right. I’ve already got the baking pan in mind (individual shamrock cakes), and we’ll do ’em in green chocolate as well as milk. Yummy!

      All doggies love towel-offs! It’s like a concentrated pet-session. HA

      Happy Sunday, luv!
