No, seriously

Today, the best record in the NBA belongs to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Heh. I remember when we couldn’t buy a win from Detroit. I even remember a couple of years ago, thinking that it was going to be yet another disappointment for Cleveland sports fans — even with LeBron. But..dare I ask it..could there be a pro sports championship for Cleveland on the horizon? Shhh. Don’t jinx it.

BlackBerry App World just launched. That makes me happy.

If you have absolutely nothing to do, you can read about some theories on how April Fools Day began. It’s actually interesting (or at least I think so).

I think that next spring, when I take my choir on tour to New York, I’ll slip out of Phantom (which I’ve seen — and loved unapologetically — eight times) and go here.

And that’s enough fooling around for one morning. Time for you to get busy.

Fink out.

Despite the Cavs winning 13 straight, I really don’t think they’ve been as impressive lately as they were in December. Then again, I’m an Ohio sports fan and will behave pessimistic as such. I really hate AFDay. I always have and being a teacher makes it that much worse. Can you take me with you instead of seeing Phantom? I’m not a huge Andrew fan. I prefer the funk…

I wish! Hair could be a really great experience for the kids…well, except for the gratuitous nudity. That would bite…

Hmm…I did not stay at a Holiday Express Inn last night, but I did have a Bavarian creme filled doughnut.

My first doughnut since January 6th, 2009. Yes, I do keep track.

      HA

Sure, KC, and as menacing and authoritative as you are, I think somehow I’d need to be chaperoning YOU as you tried to veer off the track and hang in SoHo with your group all day…

I still feel that this run the Cavs are on could still end badly. But, I’m a Cavs and Indians fan… Cleveland sports have given me no reason to think that this year is a guaranteed trip to the NBA Finals. Remember The Indians of 1995, or The Indians of 1997, or The Indians of 2007, or The Cavs getting swept in the finals. I’m hoping that this is Cleveland’s year, but I’m sure LeBron himself would understand the skepticism or lack of faith from Cleveland fans.

Aw, why do you say that, Kodye? I mean, it’s not like LeBron goes about wearing NY Yankees ball caps at Jacobs Field, or hangs on the opposing team’s sideline at Cleveland Stadium er nuthin’….

Maybe LeBron was just scouting out his options and plans to sign with the Cowboys or Yankees when 2010 comes. I could see LeBron as a tight end, or playing left field for the Yankees. I mean, it worked for Michael Jordan, right?

HAIR?? OMG!! I’ve not thought about THAT one for an age!! On a side-note, too bad THIS gem isn’t around any more – you’d bust a gut laughing!!

I saw it in London back in Jan of 2006. David Soul (Starsky & Hutch??) played Jerry!! The show actually made it to the US for a couple exclusive performances @ Carnegie Hall (Jan 2008) – http://www.jerryspringertheopera.com/

Very irreverent – my mother would NOT approve… I’d share a link here to my favorite aria from the opera, but I fear it not appropriate for young impressionable minds…
