An important poll

As I sit here crunching Honey Nut Cheerios (a bad idea yesterday at the grocery), I wonder this day:

What is the best breakfast cereal of all time? Everyone list their favorites. I’ll start.

In order of deliciousness:

  1. Lucky Charms (I could eat a whole box, seriously. That’s why I don’t buy them.)
  2. Cap’n Crunch with Crunchberries
  3. Honeycomb
  4. Cocoa Puffs
  5. Cocoa Krispies
  6. QUISP!
  7. Quaker Granola
  8. Raisin Bran (I always added my own extra raisins, till it was kind of like raisins in milk, sprinkled with bran flakes)
  9. Froot Loops
  10. Grape Nuts (yeah, I know — I’m a geezer)

OK. Ready, steady, list. And if you don’t like cold breakfast cereals, I would know the reason why. Then I will ask who stole your inner child.

4. Life
5. Trix
6. Fruit Loops
7. Frosted Shredded Wheat
8. Grits with maple syrup and butter-yummy!

1. Chocolate Cheerios (morning and right before bed…good cereal…bad habit!)
2. Homemade oatmeal with blueberries, cinnamon, and pecans
(#1 and #2 are pretty much the list of what I actually eat, but I also like…)
3. Rice Chex
4. Life
5. Blueberry Morning

Most of what I consider ‘kid’ cereal I just can’t handle…way too sweet for me!

OMG- I luuuuved Quisp when I was growing up. Haven’t seen it for a while though.
I’m with ya on the Cap’n Crunch with Crunchberries. I like Grape Nuts but either hot or on yogurt. Cold- meh…

Not much of a Raisin Brown fan. Now in my dotage, I really like the Cranberry and almond cereal – made by Post but can’t think of the name of it.

I still say that stale popcorn, cold pizza and chocolate chip cookies (particularly Washington Cookies, which have oatmeal in them) is the breakfast of champions; not necessarily in that order…..

1. Coco Pebbles.. (eek, and also HWSNBN’s favorite). I can, and have, ENDED an entire box. With or without milk. Actually, that was a standard meal at OU for me years ago. 2. Honey Nut Cheerios. 3. Grape Nuts (they’re awesome!! WHAT DO YOU MEAN, ‘OLD’? Just add sugar!) 4. Cinnamon Toast Crunch 5. Special K with the yogurt bits. Even with almonds or freeze dried fruit. 6. Frosted Flakes… consumed very quickly. No squishy cereal for me… Dislikes: Honeycomb, Captain Crunch, Fruity Pebbles… or any cereal that gets squishy too fast. Then, it goes to the dog… if we… Read more »

1.) Fruity Pebbles
2.) Golden Grahams
3.) Cap’n Crunch w/ Cruch Berries
4.) Franken-Berry
5.) Cheerios
6.) Apple Jacks

There’s more, but I’m at work and there is a child crying very loudly by our computer. To save my sanity, and this kids face from meeting my fist, I’m going to cut this list short.

I don’t have a list but my number one would have been Lucky Charms, too! Or Kap’n Crunch. Or chocolate whatevers. :)
