These guys have got to come to my school.
InPulse are the artists-in-residence at the camp I’m doing this week. They have a great education outreach program. Matt told me that their tour schedule is basically upper midwest this year, so they might be able to fit in an appearance out in the boondocks of north central Ohio.
Must ask the powers that be about this. I think they would amaze everyone. (Elliot’s voice is so low, you can count the vibration cycles. Boy makes the floor hum.) Why didn’t I think of this before?

As long as they perform in front of the choir you’ll have no problem…but trying to get them in front of the whole school I don’t think would work. Too many delinquents that won’t amount to anything and they’ll cause trouble…they always do.

Hmmm… I think I disagree, Mathew. We had a guitar player that FFA brought in last year (can’t recall his name right off hand), and everyone dug it. Everyone was extremely well-behaved, and nobody was stupid. What these guys do with their voices is so incredible, I think everyone would be amazed. Two of them did a “battle of the drummers” thing…we were all blown away — including yours truly, who doesn’t particularly love the beatbox experience. I think the kids would stand up and slap they grandma, honestly.
