They r from all over the place... there are some in Illinois, some in Kentucky, some right there in Huron County. My grandpa had over 10 siblings so I have no idea who most of my family is.

I don't know about Karo syrup but maple syrup is amazing. By the way, have I ever mentioned that we might be related somehow? My mom's maiden name is Collins too.

Krissy, my mom used to do that (except it was Karo syrup, AAAACCKK). Ever since seeing that, I could never quite bring myself to eat it.

Regarding the stiff sentence for the Xanax sales vs. Stallworth et al, I don't know how you missed this, RF, but the drunk drivers were big-money professional athletes, it sounds like your friend did not, on a season by season basis, perform extraordinary feats of heroism such as the hand-and-foot coordination required to catch a football within a pre-defined space. We all know that touchdowns enrich society like little else can. So while the law may have called for Stallworth to face many years in prison, he has a touchdown savings account of sorts he can draw off to reduce that time.

Now, to take this one step further, should he commit a first degree homicide at some point, and not have enough TDs to off-set that sentence, his defense can borrow against the equity of his talents, i.e. a highly scientific calculation is used to determine how many touchdowns he might score in the future, and he may use that equity to buy his way out of prison time.

It might at first seem unfair, but only if you stop and think about it. And no one wants to encourage that.

I feel like a total geek. I saw Milton Bradley and thought you were talking about Board Games for a minute.

Oh, and the fluffernutter is only better if you decide to go for total calorie suicide and sneak in a bit of dark chocolate. Heaven.

Milton Bradley has been, and always will be, a very emotionally expressive man. Bradley got in trouble in Cleveland too, if I remember right. He was removed from his team prior to his stop in Texas. In Arlington there isn't near the amount of pressure to perform on the baseball diamond as there would be in Boston, New York, Chicago, LA, etc. Also, Cubs fans are notoriously awful. Did you hear of the fan that poured his beer on Shane Victorino while he was trying to catch a fly ball?

Fluffernutter would kill me, but I do enjoy the mallow...

Bradley has a history of being a malcontent and something of a head case with at least the previous two teams on which he played. However, he produced offensively and defensively. So the Cubs sign him to a big contract -- 30 million for 3 years (I think), and this year he's been horrible both offensively and defensively. So, the fans have been hard on him. I don't condone booing, but the fans are frustrated with big salary players who get paid their big salaries even if they don't produce. Personally, I think big salary players often loose their incentive to produce. Their contracts should specify that if they don't produce, they take a cut in their pay. That will never happen. The fans know it. So they boo. With the prices of tickets to pro sports, I think they consider the option of booing included in the price.
